Salon Etiquette

 

To ensure you receive the best possible experience, the Beauty Insights salon etiquette guide is outlined below to give you answers to any questions you may have. If you still have a question, please don’t hesitate to contact me today.

TECHNOLOGY

To ensure that you enjoy a relaxing & peaceful experience, I respectfully request that mobile phones, pagers & electronic devices be turned off or put on vibrate during your service. If however, you’re expecting an emergency call or someone you know is in crisis, I will certainly understand…

ARRIVAL

​If this is your first visit to Beauty Insights please allow 15mins extra to your scheduled appointment; this allows you time to perhaps change, fill out your personal consultation form & undertake a comprehensive consultation with me.

LATENESS

​I understand that life can throw obstacles at us, which can make us run late. I’m very flexible if its 5 or 10mins late, yet please be aware that arriving later than this will simply limit the time of your treatment, thus lessening the effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time, so my next guest is not delayed. However, you can reschedule if at least 2 hours notice is given. Please note: not arriving for a booked appointment, with no communication, is not looked on favourably. :-/

VALUABLES

I always provide a glass dish for customers to place their personal items when removed, however, it is advised that all valuable jewellery not be worn during your visit to my salon. Beauty Insights will accept no responsibility for the safety of personal belongings brought into the property.

RESERVATIONS

I recommend all treatments and services to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. I do not accept walk-ins; my services are by ‘appointment only’. Treatments can be purchased individually or as part of a package.

RETAIL

​There is a wonderful choice of professional products for the face & body, including nail treatments & polishes. I stock a full range of Cosmetics. There is also aromatherapy, candels, organic teas, & nutritional supplements for the skin. Please do not hesitate to consult with me; as I would be happy to advise on your choice or give recommendations.

GIFT CERTIFICATES & PACKAGES

​Treat someone special with the gift of beauty pampering. Telephone the salon to discuss your requirements. I can tailor a package to suit your needs. Gift Certificates can be posted out free of charge or picked up at your convenience. Beauty Insights Packages are all at a 15% discount.

    • Time allocation of each treatment has no bearing on price.
    • All salon treatments, gift vouchers, pre-paid treatments are non-refundable but can be redeemed for dollar value to purchase products.
    • Expired gift certificates cannot be honoured or extended.
    • All gift certificates must be presented prior to receiving any treatments. No re-issue for lost, stolen or misplaced gift certificates.

REFUND POLICY

Complies with NSW Department of Fair Trading: Please choose carefully, we do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. However, if there is a fault with a product or service I’m happy to discuss & refund. ​

PAYMENT

​I accept cash & all major credit cards (excluding Amex). Purchases have to be at least $15 for credit card transactions.

MOBILE BEAUTY SERVICES

I provide mobile services to clients that are unable for one reason or another to make it to my salon. Eg: vunerable community members, group events organized in the privacy of your home (usually spray tan parties). This service is for most treatments – 45min or longer facials, massages, & spa body treatments. Please be aware that mobile services incur a fee starting from $15 (dependant of distant travelled). These appointments cannot be booked online, & must be made well in advance directly with me.

VIP LOYALITY PROGRAM

You can earn complimentary treatments by referring friends or family to Beauty Insights. Ask me how!

​I also have a Sunescape loyalty passport for the spray tanning enthusiast.

RECOMMENDATIONS

If you are under the supervision of a doctor or are using any perscribed medications, sometimes permission from your doctor will need to be obtained before scheduling/receiving any services. It is your responsibility to inform me of any medical conditions or physical limitations you may have prior to your treatment commencing. Incidently, I also politely request that if you’re feeling unwell, or have any cold or flu symtoms, please reschedule your appointment.
